The Self Help Group (SHG) Promotion Project aims to organize women into community-based savings and livelihood groups for financial empowerment and social development. The project supports formation, training, and strengthening of SHGs through financial literacy, savings management, microfinance linkage, entrepreneurship development, and income-generating activities. The initiative encourages collective decision-making, women’s leadership, social awareness, and economic self-reliance while improving access to government schemes and financial institutions.
